Is This Game on Game Pass or PS Plus?
Before you buy a game, it's worth 10 seconds to check whether you already have access to it through a subscription you're paying for.
Why this is easy to miss
Subscription catalogs change constantly. Game Pass adds and removes titles monthly, PS Plus splits its library across Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers, and EA Play and Ubisoft+ each run their own separate lists. Unless you check each service's own app individually, it's genuinely hard to know off the top of your head whether a specific game is covered by something you already pay for.
The result: people buy games outright that were already included in a subscription they were paying for anyway.
How to check in GGz
- Search for the game or find it in Explore, Releases, or Trending.
- Open its detail page. Subscription availability is shown alongside platforms and stores, not buried in a separate menu.
- Look for the service badges. GGz shows exactly which service carries the game right now, down to the tier, for example "Game Pass for consoles" versus "PSN Extra."
- Filter search results by service from the start: the Filters panel has a dedicated Subscription Services section, so you can browse only what's already covered by PlayStation Plus or Game Pass.
If it's not on a subscription
If a game isn't covered by any service you're subscribed to, GGz's Available At screen immediately shows the lowest price across 14 stores, so you can go straight from "not included" to "cheapest place to buy it" without leaving the game's page.
