Every Free Game Giveaway, In One Place
Free-game windows are short and scattered across stores. Here's how to stop missing them.
Why free games are easy to miss
Free-game promotions don't run on one shared schedule. Epic Games Store gives away titles weekly. PS Plus rotates monthly. Prime Gaming and individual publishers run their own separate giveaways on top of that. Missing the window on any of them usually means paying full price later for something that was free days earlier.
How to catch every giveaway with GGz
- Turn on free-game alerts in Menu → Push Notification. It's one of GGz's five dedicated notification types, so it doesn't get mixed in with general news.
- Check Explore for daily highlights. Free promotions surface alongside top stories and trending titles.
- Bookmark anything you might want, even if you're not ready to play it yet. As long as it's within its free window, claiming it usually means keeping it permanently.
- Cross-check subscription catalogs too: Game Pass, PS Plus, EA Play, and Ubisoft+ effectively make their entire libraries "free" for the length of your subscription, and GGz's service filters show what's covered right now.
Once claimed during its free window, a giveaway game is typically yours to keep, even if you later cancel the subscription or the promotion ends. Missing the window is what actually costs you.
Free now vs. worth buying later
Not every free game is a keeper, and not every game worth playing is currently free. If something isn't part of a current giveaway, GGz's Available At screen shows its live price across 14 stores immediately, so you can decide in seconds whether it's worth buying now or worth waiting for.
