Never Miss a Game Release Date Again

Dozens of games launch every week across PC and consoles. Here's how to see only the ones that matter to you.

Why a generic calendar doesn't work

Most release lists are undifferentiated: every platform, every region, every game, in one long feed. If you only own a PS5 and a Switch, scrolling past Xbox exclusives and PC-only early access titles just to find what's actually relevant to you gets old fast.

How to build your own calendar in GGz

  1. Open Menu → Platforms Tune. Toggle on only the platforms and services you actually use, from Windows and macOS to PS5, PS VR2, Xbox Series, Switch, and Amazon Luna.
  2. Drag to reorder so your primary platform shows first everywhere in the app.
  3. Check the Releases tab for a Today's Highlight feature plus every launch grouped by platform.
  4. Check Explore → Upcoming Titles for what's coming next, and Trending for what's picking up attention right now.
  5. Turn on launch alerts in Menu → Push Notification. GGz can notify you the day of release, and separately for "tomorrow's launches," so nothing catches you off guard.

From release date to purchase decision

A release calendar only tells you when. Each game's detail page in GGz goes further: genres, perspective, critic scores from OpenCritic, expected playtime from HowLongToBeat, and trailers, so you can decide whether a launch is actually worth your time before you commit to it. And if it is, the Available At screen shows the lowest price across 14 stores the moment it's out.
